Doctrinal Statement of Faith:
The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the absolute true Word of God. We believe there is one, and only one true and living God, who is the ruler of heaven and earth. He is the Godhead with three divine personalities; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who became man without ceasing to be God. (Isaiah 53:6; John 20:28; Luke 24:36-43; Acts 1:9-11; II Cor. 5:21; Isaiah 9:6; I Cor. 5:3; I Peter 2:24; Luke 24:36-43; Matt. 25:31; Phil. 2:6-7; Mark 16:19)
We believe in the deity and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and helps the believer. (John 14:6, 17, 26; Matt. 28:19; Luke 1:35; Gen. 1:1-3; John 1:33; Acts 11:16; Luke 24:49; Rom. 8:8, 14, 16, 26-67; Eph. 1:13; John 16:7-15)
We accept the Genesis account of creation and believe that man came by direct creation of God and not by evolution. (Gen.1, 2; Col. 1:16-17; John 1:3). We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell. But through Christ Jesus, man is redeemed once he excepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior.(Gen. 1:26-27; Rom. 3:22-23, 5:12; Eph. 2:1-3, 12)
Atonement for Sin: We believe that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Rom. 5:1-25; Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 9:22; Gal. 3:16)
